Margo Has Arrived!

Baby Margo made her grand entrance last night at 10pm. She is 7 pounds 11 ounces.
She is beautiful (and so is mommy!)

It is so exciting to have two close friends children born in one week. What a true and complete blessing!

Patrick and Margo are both adorable....I cant wait to start with the spoiling!
Isn't she cute.

Guess what we have been doing?!?!?

Potty Training!!

And wow, has it been fun!! Bray is on his 2nd day of staying dry, even at school, totally loving his "Go in Da Dark" Gymboree underwear. We are all so proud of him. He is convinced that he is taller now.... Just in time for him to turn three! Still have a road ahead of us, praying he keeps up the good work...and hopefully good AIM!!

Baby Patrick Has Arrived!

My Godchild, Patrick Joseph arrived yesterday at 3:06pm. He is 8 lbs 14 ozs- 21 inches long. He is beautiful, perfect in every way.

I got his 4 siblings around noon...Mommy was starting to have contractions. I was so excited I was in tears... We went to lunch and headed to the school picnic that I was doing, so we went about 2 hours early to set up...midway Bill called. When they got to the hospital they found out that the cord was wrapped around Patricks neck! They rushed them into an emergency C-section, they were very lucky that they got there when they did....Bill wasn't even in the room during the surgery. It was a scare, but baby and mommy are fine. God was definitely watching over them...

I was running crazy working the picnic, talking to friends and trying to keep and eye on 5 kids...We couldn't wait to get to the hospital! Of course, we couldn't leave until the children were able to dunk their principal in the dunking booth!

It was such an honor and joy to be a part of Patricks day. It was nice to be back in a hospital for a happy occasion. The kids will be with me for awhile, they are all so excited...and I love them all like they were my own. We cannot wait to visit him at the hospital later today. We all miss him already!

Please pray for Laura, now, the mother of five-I am sure she will be amazing...but we can all use prayer.

Love you all

First Day of School

Chandler started 5th grade...looking very handsome I might add. His new teacher was an old principal of another school, so he was a little nervous- so far he seems like her! This is the first year he did not want to go, he didn't want to leave Brayden and I. Me, I think because of our summer- so much happened, he didnt want to leave my side. Brayden, I believe Chandler hates for Brayden to experience anything in life, without being right there with him. He is such an amazing big brother.

I will be at his school more this year then ever...so that will help. He is already busy with Tennis and Baseball..and soon Scouts.

Brayden did well at his first day in his 2 year old program "school" - he will be going 2 half days a week....He was so excited to go. He got to wear his new shoes, take his own little lunch box with snack, he helped me fill out the paperwork so he thought he had homework to turn in...all this in his Monkey Monkey bag, the school gave him. As we were walking in, I ran into a friend, so he and Gabbie were talkin, I looked over and there was Chad - sneaking up (hiding from Bray) not wanting to miss his first day... So we both were there when he walked in- he hung his monkey bag up, looked in his cubby, said "Hi Teach" and sat on the carpet, ready to play...
I left in tears...what am I gonna do when he is ready for real school?
When I picked him up - he was happy as can be. He pointed out his new friends and said he had a great day...you can tell he was well loved.

On another note, my uncle had a heart attack today, driving to the Notre Dame game. Right now he is in ICU. If you can keep him in your prayers I would appreciate that...also my brother and sister as well...facing another ICU visit.

Love you all and have a good weekend.

Whats up....

I have been busy trying to get back on track, focus on whats most important...
getting closer to God, concentrating on my family and friends...Trying to get our crazy schedule in line, while not losing focus of what matters. I am hoping to restart my blog- I love documenting our days and having a record of it. I haven't read a blog all summer, and my posts haven't been pleasant! So, I am hoping alot of change is ahead.

My music-this was a song and artist my mom loved...so its a small tribute to her.
(Its healing to hear this song and see her picture on this blog!)

hope you all had a good summer, love you all~Melissa
