After we were exhausted! Both the boys took their shower/baths and we were all watching a little TV in our room. I told Brayden it was time to do his ears and nails...and he said " Good because I put a blue Pixo in there!"
So, I looked and way down in there, sure enough, was a blue tiny pixo bead! I asked him why he did that, he said "because it fit, dah?" We tried to get it out, but we were scared to push it down further. (and if you are wondering, a handivac didnt work!!)
So, off to the doctors at 10:00 at night, Brayden and I went! They got us right in...tried 4 different methods and finally got it out! Bray was so brave! You could tell it was painful, but he was tough! When the doctor got it out...He said "oops, it was really green I guess!" He looked for others, but there was only one.
When we got home Chandler had made Brayden a gift (that was in front of his bedroom door)....it was a shoe box with a big note saying "I love you" - inside was a backugan card (bray loves those), a piece of candy and a snow globe Chandler made. How sweet! Chandler was so worried about his brother.
At about 4am, I got up to check on Brayden because they said there would be pain in his ear mainly because the bead was so low and due to the method they had to use. Anyway- in his room, on his small twin bed, there was his big brother Chandler, holding Brayden...both asleep and very comfortable.
This was a small mishap that sent us to the doctors office in the middle of the night.... but to see how much Chandler loves his brother is such a good reminder- of how blessed and loved we all are!
